Edward has been a Senior Manager within the Office of the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer (the Office) for nearly 7 years. The Office provides independent evidence-based scientific advice to government on a range of difficult challenges.

Edward has been involved and lead a number of projects including PFAS contamination, Humam Health Risk Assessment for the Lord Howe Island Rodent Eradication Program, Energy Security Taskforce and both the Decarbonisation Innovation Study (1st and 2nd report) and the Decarbonisation Innovation Hub.

Prior to this Edward lead the Science team with the NSW Food Authority, the state's food regulatory agency.
