Chair, Housing Plus

Brad Cam is the General Manager of Mid-Western Regional Council and has held this position for nine years. Mr Cam has a Bachelor of Building from the University of NSW, a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Technology Sydney, Australian Institute of Company Directors certificate and Associated Certificate of Applied Management.

Prior to his role as General Manager, Mr Cam was the Mid-Western Regional Council Director of Operations for seven years and was responsible for delivering capital projects totalling approximately $40 million each year. Mr Cam also managed his own successful building and construction business for 19 years.

He is currently the Chair of Housing Plus, a not-for-profit organisation and has more than 20 years’ experience as a Housing Plus Board member including 11 years’ experience as the Chair. He is the current Chair of the Orana Regional Development Australia Committee and the sponsoring General Manager of the Orana Water Utilities Alliance. More recently, he was appointed Chair of the Royalties for Rejuvenation – Central West Expert Panel.

Brad is very thankful for the opportunity to be involved in the Max Potential Program which Council has been involved with since its inception, Brad being involved since its second year and Ambassador for at least the past seven years. He is very passionate about providing leadership and self-development opportunities to young members of the Mid-Western community that wish to accelerate their potential, and recognises that there is also a very positive benefit to Council for the coaches that participate in the program.

He is extremely proud of the accomplishments of all Max Potential participants and coaches.
