Executive Director - NSW Resources Regulator, Department of Regional NSW
Peter joined the NSW Resources Regulator as the Executive Director in January 2022 and has extensive experience in regulatory roles with State agencies. He leads the Resources Regulator with executive responsibility for the regulatory, compliance and enforcement functions. Peter aims to ensure the Resources Regulator maintains community and industry confidence as a professional, impartial, and effective contemporary regulator by improved industry compliance and operator performance with the Mining Act (including mine rehabilitation requirements) and Work Health Safety legislation.
