Dr Jai Cooper
Consultant, Institute for Regional Futures, University of Newcastle

Dr Jai Cooper is an environmental sociologist specialising in social physics and the social construction of environmental risks.  Jai has had an extensive practical career working directly supporting community groups, landholders and youth programs undertaking natural area restoration works throughout NSW/ACT. 

As a consultant with the Institute for Regional Futures, Jai specialises in qualitative research and community development. His current projects include social impact assessment, enhancing sustainable business investment, and improving Indigenous education.
